The Day VideoWorks Died?

On December 3rd, Adobe acquired Macromedia. While I am no longer doing a lot of Director - let alone Flash - things, it brings back a lot of memories.

VideoWorks, VideoWorks II (imagine: with Color!), Director. Oh, and of course MacPlaymate, the real prequel to it all.

And I remember being on of the two customers for the Director Player for Irix.

Those were the days. Or am I just getting old?
